It's time to put all the pieces into place and finally take your guitar skills into the realm of true Shred Mastery... this is what you've been working towards!
Seamlessly incorporate alternate picking with economy picking, sweep picking and legato all while freely moving around the fretboard at lightning speed!
Laser-focus on the patterns and technique
This course is all about teaching you the real techniques of high-level guitarists, To that end, beyond working through the standard picking and legato techniques, I even took the time to film my own playing in slow motion to work out exactly how I play at high speeds and incorporated it into the entire course.
This way, I'm not just teaching you the standardized advanced guitar techniques, I'm able to show you exactly how a high-level guitarist with decades of specialization and experience actually plays.
The result was a treasure trove of advanced, deeply satisfying and highly musical Shred patterns that seamlessly integrate alternate picking, economy picking, sweep picking, legato and more.
Position shifting: a key component of Shred Mastery
One thing you'll never run into is a Shred Master who is stuck playing in one or two positions on the fretboard.
In Shred Lead Mastery, I take the time to demystify the ability to change positions at lightning speed and we work through all of the avenues that are used to move freely around the fretboard.
This includes how to change fingering in preparation of changing positions, sliding to higher or lower positions in a variety of ways as well as jumping from one position to another.
Sweep Picking is NOT just for Arpeggios
While I've done a lot of work with sweep picking arpeggios both in my own original music and instructional material, in this course, we approach sweep picking in it's purest form - that is, as a basic picking technique.
In Shred Lead Mastery, sweep picking is utilized as a supplemental picking technique, incorporated into larger shred patterns both for it's utility in making certain patterns possible to play at higher speeds as well as for effect.
A Standalone Course, built on The Infinite Shred Method
All of the patterns found in this course were built using The Infinite Shred Method as a foundation - of course, taking things to the next level.
As a result, while this course works as a standalone Master Class on Shred Technique and Shred Patterns, it can also be seen as a natural Part 4 of The Infinite Shred Method with a focus on high-level application of what is taught in Parts 1-3.
No theory or concepts are touched upon in this course as it's all been covered in great detail in The Infinite Shred Method, allowing this course to focus exclusively on the patterns and technique.
If you're just looking to learn some high-level technique or add a ton of truly epic Shred Patterns to your arsenal, this course has you covered. On the other hand, if you've already gone through The Infinite Shred Method, you will get exponentially more out of this course with the ability to apply everything you learn to an infinite variety of patterns of your own making.
